A Rose is a Rose

I’ve seen this one in movies and I always thought it was kind of corny but now on further contemplation I’d love to have a man leave a path of rose petals up to my bed. As long as he lives with me it is so romantic, otherwise it’s a bit creepy. I’m not sure how one gets the petals off the stem, I’d imagine it would take quite a while but you can get them in bunches from Trulymadlydeeply.biz if you’re in the UK – what a glorious site! They have everything romantic in the way of flowers!

How about potted flowers instead of cut flowers? I always felt really bad when the flowers that my beau gave me wilted away. It was almost a reflection on our relationship of sorts. But with a beautiful potted mum with a nice design on the pot your symbol of love can last much longer for both of you to enjoy.

But if you must send a bouquet, I suggest trying an exotic one like Karma Sumatra from Serenataflowers.com. Described on their site as ‘proud yellow calla lilies and growling pincushion proteas sneaking between a forest of phoenix palm and bupleurum.’ Forget the Latin this sounds wild!
